Ordering & account

Is it legal to buy weed online in Canada?+

Yes. Cannabis is legal for adults in Canada. You must be of legal age in your province or territory (19+ in most provinces, 18+ in Alberta, 21+ in Québec) and a Canadian resident to order from us.

How do I place an order?+

Browse the shop, add what you want to your cart, and check out. Choose your payment method, confirm your shipping details, and you'll get an order confirmation by email — followed by a tracking number once it ships.

Do I need an account to order?+

No — you can check out as a guest. But an account lets you track orders, save addresses, see your order history, and earn Dank Bucks on every purchase, so it's worth the 30 seconds.

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?+

If your order hasn't shipped yet, email info@dankweed.co with your order number as soon as possible and we'll do our best. Once an order is paid and dispatched, it can't be changed or cancelled.

I didn't get an order confirmation email — what should I do?+

Check your spam/junk folder first, and make sure the email on your order is correct. If it's still missing after a few minutes, email us with your name and rough order time and we'll resend it.

Is there a minimum order?+

Nope. Order a single item or stock up — your call. Just note that free shipping kicks in once you pass the threshold shown at checkout.

Is it safe to order from Dank Weed?+

Yes. The site runs over a secure (HTTPS) connection, we don't store your payment credentials, and every order ships in plain, discreet packaging. We only collect what we need to fulfill your order — see our Privacy Policy.

Payment

What payment methods do you accept?+

The methods shown at checkout — including Interac e-Transfer and cryptocurrency. Your order is processed as soon as payment is confirmed.

How do I pay by Interac e-Transfer?+

At checkout we give you the recipient email and the exact amount. Send the e-Transfer from your online banking to that email and include your order number in the message. Our deposits are usually automatic, so you typically won't need a security question — but if your bank requires one, use the answer we provide.

Why hasn't my e-Transfer been received yet?+

Auto-deposit is usually instant, but banks occasionally hold first-time or large transfers for review, which can add time. Double-check you sent it to the exact email we listed and included your order number. If it's been a while, email us and we'll track it down.

How does paying with crypto work?+

Pick your coin at checkout and we lock the exchange rate for a short window so you know the exact amount. Send that amount to the wallet address shown, and your order is processed once the network confirms the payment. If you miss the window, just restart the checkout for a fresh rate.

Do you store my payment information?+

No. Interac e-Transfer and crypto are sent from your side — we never see or store card numbers or banking credentials.

Is the price I see the price I pay?+

The total shown at checkout — including any shipping — is what you pay. No surprise fees added after the fact.

Shipping & tracking

How much is shipping, and is there free shipping?+

Shipping is free on orders over the threshold shown at checkout; smaller orders pay a flat rate displayed before you pay. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.

When will my order ship?+

Once payment is confirmed. Weekday orders placed before our daily cutoff usually ship the same day; weekend and holiday orders ship the next business day.

How long does delivery take?+

Most orders arrive within roughly 2–5 business days by tracked mail, depending on your province and distance from a major hub. Remote and northern addresses can take longer.

When do I get a tracking number?+

You'll receive a tracking number by email the moment your order leaves us. If you have a confirmation but no tracking yet, it simply hasn't been dispatched — that's normal in the first day.

My tracking hasn't updated in a few days — is something wrong?+

Usually not. Carriers don't scan a package at every stop, so tracking can sit quiet for a couple of days mid-transit. If there's no movement for several business days, email us with your order number and we'll open a trace.

Tracking says delivered but I don't have my package — what now?+

Check around your door, mailbox, with household members, and your local post office (sometimes it's scanned before the final drop). If it doesn't turn up, contact us within 48 hours and we'll help you file a trace with the carrier.

Is a signature required on delivery?+

Usually no — most orders are sent without signature. Occasionally a package may be flagged for signature by the carrier, in which case you'll need to be present or pick it up from the post office.

Can I change my shipping address after ordering?+

If the order hasn't shipped, email us right away and we'll update it. Once it's in the mail, the address is locked in — so please double-check it at checkout.

I sent my order to the wrong address — help!+

Contact us immediately. If it hasn't shipped, we can correct it. If it's already on its way, options are limited and a reship may be needed at additional cost.

Do you ship outside of Canada?+

No. We ship within Canada only.

How is my order packaged?+

Discreetly, every time — plain, smell-proof, vacuum-sealed packaging with nothing on the outside that hints at what's inside or who it's from.

What happens if my package is lost?+

Reach out with your order number and tracking and we'll work with the carrier to locate it. We stand behind our shipments and will make it right.

Products & quality

Is your cannabis lab tested?+

Yes. We curate lab-tested product and list potency and details on each page so you know exactly what you're getting.

What do the AA / AAA / AAAA grades mean?+

It's a quality scale for flower. AAAA (quads) is top-shelf — dense, frosty, aromatic, well-cured. AAA is excellent mid-to-high tier, and AA is solid everyday value. We note the grade so you can match quality to budget.

Can I compare strains side by side?+

Yes — use our strain comparison tool. Hover any strain in the shop and tap 'Compare' (up to 3), then open the tray and hit Compare. You'll see type, grade, average price per gram, aromas, and our batch-tested nug size, nose, trichome and stickiness scores side by side — plus a plain-English verdict on which to pick. What's the difference between indica, sativa, and hybrid?+

Traditionally, indica is associated with relaxed, body-heavy effects, sativa with uplifting, heady effects, and hybrids land somewhere between. In reality, effects vary a lot by person and by the strain's specific cannabinoid and terpene profile — treat it as a starting point, not a rule.

What are THC and CBD?+

THC is the main psychoactive cannabinoid (the one that gets you high). CBD is non-intoxicating and is often associated with a calmer, clearer feel. Many products list both so you can pick the balance you want.

How should I store my cannabis?+

Keep it in an airtight container somewhere cool, dark, and dry — away from light and heat. For flower, a humidity pack (like a Boveda) keeps it from drying out or getting too moist.

How do I dose edibles, and how long do they take to kick in?+

Start low and go slow — 5–10 mg of THC for most people, less if you're new — and wait a full 1–2 hours before taking more. Edibles hit slower and last longer than smoking, so patience saves you from overdoing it.

My concentrate changed texture (shatter turned to budder) — is it bad?+

No. Concentrates naturally shift texture with heat and movement; shatter can 'auto-budder' into a softer consistency. It's still perfectly good to use — keep concentrates cool to slow it down.

Is moldy cannabis safe to use?+

No — never consume or smoke cannabis you suspect is moldy. If you ever receive product that looks off, don't use it; contact us within 48 hours with photos and your order number and we'll sort it out.

Returns, issues & support

What's your return policy?+

For health, safety, and legal reasons, cannabis products generally can't be returned once shipped. But if something's wrong with your order, we'll always make it right — see below.

My order arrived damaged, incorrect, or with items missing — what do I do?+

Email info@dankweed.co within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos. We'll review it quickly and resolve it with a replacement, store credit, or refund as appropriate.

How do refunds work?+

When a refund is warranted, it goes back to your original payment method or as store credit / Dank Bucks — your preference where possible.

I have a concern about product quality — what should I do?+

Tell us. Email with your order number and details (photos help) and we'll make it right. We curate what we sell and stand behind it.

How do I avoid scammers and fake 'Dank Weed' accounts?+

Only order through dankweed.co and only send payment to the details shown at our checkout or in your official order email. We'll never DM you on social media asking for payment to a different address. If something looks off, check with us first.

How do I contact support?+
